Hi all, I’m looking for a recommendation for a California real estate attorney (Bay Area preferred) with experience handling seller disclosure disputes involving unpermitted ADUs.
Recently purchased a property where an existing ADU was represented as permitted, but after closing the City confirmed no ADU permit exists. I'm proceeding with as-built legalization and am looking for legal guidance on misrepresentation, failure to disclose, and pre-litigation settlement strategy.
