Hey guys, wondering if any of you can share your contractor's contact with me. I have a 3-unit multifamily and am looking to start rehabbing and renting some properties. Location is around Chicago and its suburbs. Thank you
Hey Layla, I don鈥檛 have a specific contractor to recommend, but I鈥檝e worked around a few renovation projects in Chicago and one thing I鈥檇 suggest is making sure whoever you hire has solid experience with multifamily rehabs specifically.
A lot of contractors are great with single-family homes, but multifamily projects tend to have different challenges (timelines, permits, working unit by unit, etc.).
Also, once you get to the point of listing or renting, having strong photo/video content can make a big difference in how fast units get filled, especially in competitive areas.
If you ever need help showcasing the property once the rehab is done, happy to connect 馃憤

That's amazing news to hear and love hearing other women get started investing in real estate investing and rehabbing properties. It is no easy feat! As far as contractors go, I'd suggest asking other investors in your area for referrals but @Jonathan Klemm is a general contractor that can help you too! Best of luck finding the right fit! 馃挭馃徑
