Hello my name is Will Scroggins I own a general contracting company here in SW Florida I'm looking to network and meet new friends and potential clients im also a real estate agent here in Cape Coral I'm looking to expand and my buissnes into residential remodeling and flipping I'm new to bigger pockets so I apologize if I'm green but id love to talk to anyone who is in the industry and hopefully learn more about what makes you successful thank you for your time :)

 How many renovations have you done? I know of an investor in the area looking to get 4-5 properties completed and looking for an experienced GC

    it's easy to get caught up chasing deals for flipping and remodeling, but your biggest advantage as a general contractor is really on the cost side. you already know how to add value to a property in a way most investors have to guess at.

    instead of just looking for any fixer-upper, focus your initial search on properties that truly need the specific kind of rehab your company is best at doing. that's where your real profits will come from.

    i'd suggest checking the local cape coral code enforcement records or the county's tax delinquent lists. properties on these lists often mean sellers who need to sell quickly and have homes that need a lot of work. your construction expertise can make those deals sing.

    understanding your true labor and material costs for a full remodel, down to the penny, lets you confidently bid on deals where other investors just see too much risk. that's a huge edge.

    what kind of rehab projects does your company specialize in the most in sw florida right now?

    Welcome to BP.  What kind of work have you done on homes?  I talk with investors all the time that are looking for a quality contractor to help.


    As for connections I would suggest that you go to the SW Florida REIA. the hold meeting twice a month and it is a great place to network. There is a number of people at the meeting that can help.

    Yes sir thank you for your time Jacob we mainly focus on interior remodeling like kitchens and bathrooms most of our clients have rental property's that need work, small and big no matter the situation we we normally work within a strict budget

    thank you for your time Todd really appreciate it we focus mainly on interior renovation for the past 2 months we've been helping real estate agents with renovating there clients properties this year alone we've done over 13 houses in Sandoval full interior and exterior painting and handyman services all of our clients work of a strict budget and time schedule which we follow thoroughly no matter the situation were always willing to help we'd like to expand into new avenues for investors to help them with there property problems our Facebook page has pictures of our work
