Lubbock, TX rental opportunities

My wife and I are going to be moving to Lubbock for 3 years while our daughter is doing her residency at Texas tech and were wondering about the rental market. We own rental properties in Kansas City, MO and have been landlords for 15 years but we're curious if Lubbock is a good rental market as we are considering purchasing a place then keeping it as a rental after the 3 years. If anyone has some insight / experience I would love to hear from you. Thank you in advance.
