I ran into Home Depot today to get some misc stuff and saw a pallet off the Trafficmaster allure cherry vinyl planks on sale for $.99/sf (normally $1.89). I bought the pallet and they said they could order more if needed. I've used this exact flooring before and loved it. Just figured I'd pass this information along just incase anyone was planning a flooring project using this.
I haven't ever used hardwood other than one house that had it originally. But I have used this laminate wood in several units and I think it's very cost effective and looks great. I do believe the hardwood will hold up longer in a rental.
Might be a local sale? I'm getting $1.89/ft online for my local store. If I could buy it at 99 cents a foot I'd buy a few pallets and put them in my storage. It's a great product and I use it all the time for my rentals. When you look online does it show up as the sale price when you select your local store?
I'm also getting $1.89, although it does have that "Special Buy" icon next to it.
How does Allure compare to the Tranquility brand from Lumber Liquidators? The 5mm Tranquility stuff is $2.31 right now. Is it pretty much the same stuff?
