Hey everyone!,
I see a few threads on this already, so I apologize for any redundancy, but I am looking for insurance coverage for my rental properties. I have moved them all out of my personal name, and into my LLC. Curious to know who you might recommend. Thanks so much!
Drew for flips I use http://www.nreinsurance.com/ they insure vacnat properties as well, not the best insurance but they insure about anything. I use Cincinnati insurance for everything else, they have been great with my claims. Glad to see another Fort Wayne person we should meet up sometime.
You can also take a builders policy if you do enough flips to make it worth it. I have found I can beat there price but not service, and when u have a claim u want good service.
@Drew Wiard Not sure I have a good insurance guy to recommend (I like mine, but I'm not sure if he'd loan up your way or not). But I have a question for you. Do you own your properties free and clear? If not, how did you transfer them to your LLC without striking the due on sale clause?
@Drew Wiard I use Tim Petre at Donovan Insurance Services his number is [REMOVED]. Seems ok but I don't have much history with him. My property is in a Sub S.
I've been using Fox & Fox in Carmel, IN for about 3 years and love them. They aren't always the very cheapest but close. They make up for any price difference in service.
