Is it ok to ask for a prospective tenants SSI card?

I am about to meet with a new tenant that has passed all qualifications so far. Is it standard practice to ask to see a copy of the SSI card?

@Jeremie Cortez I would probably just ask to "see" itntonvenrify that this is fact them, but I only ask for a copy of their drivers licenae to keep on file with their application

It should not be necessary to see the card. The credit search will match the information provided to the applicant confirming it is correct. But you can ask to see almost anything you wish as part of your screening process.
