I am new to bigger pockets after reading the book on rental properties, becoming a real estate referral agent, and listening to some podcasts I figured I should sign up. I currently own a starter home in NJ and am looking to rent it when I finish college as well as use the leverage to purchase other rental properties. Looking forward to learning the ins and outs of buy and hold rentals, I will probably start in NJ because that is where I am from and then research areas with higher cap rates as I get more comfortable with managing properties. Looking forward to connecting with all types of real estate pros!
Welcome @Andy Rousch! SJREIA might be a bit of a drive for you for many meetings, but they're one of the bigger investor groups in NJ. There are also more and more meetings popping up and I see several advertising here for meetings up north. Keep your eyes peeled
