How to deal with a flea infestation on rehabbed house.

I have a house that we pained, cleaned, changed the carpet, etc. The last time I was at house it looked and smelled fine. There were no fleas that I noticed. Now a week later the place is filled with fleas. The house is In Texas. Anyone ever had this happen to them or know how to deal with the fleas?

If you want to deal with flea then you need to use the right flea control procedure to work. Most of the people use heat treatment, as steam cleaning process can work to kill off various types of fleas and other infestation in the house also.But, make sure to make a good plan to get rid of fleas. Like, last month our new neighbor was also dealing with similar issue, where they were trying to get rid of fleas from their home. They had tried all possible methods, but none of the methods were able to eliminate the fleas. Later on they had consulted an exterminator in Fairfield, where the experts had used the natural pesticides with proper amount, and they had eliminated the fleas safely and properly.

Up here we have orkin. For fleas they will come around and spray their poison. It will kill the live ones right away, but the larva are still alive so you're supposed to vacuum every few days or so. Orkin likes to make you sign up for a full year of quarterly or bi-monthly treatments. The upside is if you experience the problem in between their visits they will come back out free of charge.

The first rental I bought had a bunch of fleas in it from the previous tenants.  I got the cans of "fogger'' and removed the carpets and that took care of the problem.  The house was vacant/unrehabbed at the time, so it made it pretty easy.  In your situation, it might be best to contact a pest company and let them handle it.
