One of my buddies signed a leasing agreement with the multi-family property management and the occupancy is dated in 7 months. Understanding that the agreement has been signed, the property manager terminated the leasing agreement due to the fact that the occupancy has been overloaded, instead, offered two property alternatives. I spoke to multiple tenants that are in the same situation.

Are there any loopholes or opportunities to work around the situation for the property managers? If not, is it reasonable to speak to real estate lawyers to find a solution?
