Washer/Dryer Combo for a 1 Bed rental?

Question

I need to install a W and D in a 1 bed rental just south of Boston, in Weymouth. There isn't a great space for it, so it has to be on the smaller size. Does anyone have any recommendations? Has anyone used ventless? My current tenants are moving out so this is a great opportunity to do the work. The biggest complaint I received last time I showed it was it did not have a W and D.

I am debating if it is going to be worth adding one or not. It would require a fair amount work with bringing water over, adding the drain and converting the closet.

@Chris Roche  I think you answered your own question when you said that the lack of a washer & dryer was the biggest complaint you had!

You'll still need water, a drain and dryer vent, but my bet is that you'll get something additional in rent, so it's a matter of when the break-even point is.

I was surprised there're ventless dryers as well. And they're not cheap.

@Chris Roche Check your comps in your area for 1 bedrooms. Do they have WD? if not, you can probably skip it if everything else is similar.

We are in Germany for a few years for the W-2 job,  we have a ventless stacked w/d.  It stores the water in a container that must be emptied every 3rd load or so.  Clothes usually are a bit damp when they come out,  I hang things on a dryer rack for an hour or two and then they are fully dry. They have been around for at least 20 years in Europe.

We own 2 500 s.f. units in the U.S. and they both have stacked w/d in a closet.  In our area not having w/d on site dries up at least half the tenant pool.

How can you have a ventless dryer??

We put a combo stacked washer dryer in a closet with a direct vent to the outside. It's been there for 10 years. But the basement gave us access to both the water & NG lines.
