New to real estate, cheapest way for new siding

Hey All, my first post here!

Just wondering what’s the cheapest way to do new siding? The actual siding is fine, but underneath the wood is rotting due to age

    @Ryan Pang that is different than siding and it kinda just has to be done there isn't really a 'cheap' way

    After you take care of the wood rot (guessing it is the plywood sheathing behind that's going bad) you could use T1-11 siding as an inexpensive siding replacement to mitigate your total costs for this project.

    There isn't really a cheap way.  If it's rotting underneath than all the siding has to come off.  If it's termites the damage can be a lot worse than you think.  Don't wait to take care of it or you will be replacing a lot more than that.

    Thanks guys.  Got quoted from PowerHRG for $30k just for the siding, then there's addons which totaled about $50k with 8 new windows.

    Wow, what's the sq ft? Have you checked for local contractors?

    I'll have to check with local, but because of my area, i get a feelings our estimates typically come up higher.
