My name is Chandler Parker. I live in Irmo, SC and I am looking to meet and network with local landlords in hopes of leasing a single family home. My company is Parker HomeStays. I would like to acquire properties, with willing landlords and host short term guest.
At first, most landlords think it's a crazy idea and just don't want to talk about it. I can understand that thinking.
The first question I get is "Will my property get trashed?" The answer for that is quite simple. Absolutely not! All of our guest are pre-screened for identification, pet free, non-smokers and typically only stay for 1-6 nights. The first part of this is that once we sign a 1 year lease with a landlord, we make a huge financial investment in the property by furnishing and staging the property. You see, we now have a financial interest in keeping the property it top professional condition at all times. Between the guest we have professional cleaning companies clean and re-stage the property. Another benefit to this, we always have eyes inside the property.
The next question is "Will I have to do any extra management or work?". Again, absolutely not. Actually once we sign the lease, you will collect automatic rent payments every month and never hear from us except to update you once in a while on the quality and condition of the property. So you collect rent, don't have to deal with a tenant and your property will be maintained and cleaned professionally on a weekly basis. Hands free landlording for you!
