How to get repair estimates on out of state rentals

Hello Fellow investors. I live in California and I need help on how to coordinate with contractors to get repair estimates on an income property that i own in Adamsville, Alabama. Adamsville is a suburb of the Birmingham area. Any guidance will be appreciated! Thank you!

I use Thumbtack.com to find repairmen for my rentals.  Sometime I use Homeadvisors.com.
