Local news story.

If you read about your tenants doing something like this, what would you do? Keep in mind, they have not been convicted in a court of law and these are only allegations at this point. I know what I would do, but I'm curious to hear how others will respond.

Given the lengths he went to for a friend, I say you bring him a 12 pack and buddy up to him. Never know when you're going to need someone to pistol-whip a late paying tenant.

Other than that, you do nothing until he is convicted. I assume the best you could do is a non-renewal since the incident happened off your property.

Kanye hasn't been around for a year and all his properties were recently listed for sale.

I live in California, so I'm pretty sure this is completely legal (or at least wouldn't be prosecuted) in much of the state.

No, they were listed with someone on the state board. I wouldn't want them, anyway. I tried working with Kanye's team when they first moved to town and were looking for rentals. Everything goes through ten layers of companies hiring companies hiring companies. Ridiculous.
