    Great point, Dan.

    One thing to be mindful of with a Roth IRA is the tax timing. Contributions are made with after-tax dollars, meaning you're paying tax at today's marginal rate before the money goes in.

    If someone is currently in a high tax bracket — especially high W-2 income earners or investors with strong cash flow — that upfront tax cost can be significant.
