We're off to the races. This is the 2nd meetup of BP members in Central Oregon, and will be at McMenamins. With the market heating up and weather thawing out, I know in watching MLS that people are already beginning to buy. I know from experience the value of getting to know other BP members; and what it can do for your business, in fact, I'll be happy to share some of that with you. I hope everyone can make it,

Though there's no charge for the meetup, I encourage everyone that is able to support the business by purchasing food and/or drinks. See you there!     Are all of you still going if it snows? @Eric Bilderback  @Paul Singer @Skyler Holloway @Zachary Critchett @Alison Fountain @Jim Haney @Anna Kampa  

    I am going to try as hard as I can to make it, but I must confess, I haven't driven enough in the snow to really feel comfortable driving in it at night from Three Rivers so it will be dependent upon weather. For those of you that are Bend natives, should we have waited to start this until later in year or do most of you live in Bend, and are close to where the meetup is? 

    Karen Templeton is planning on doing a presentation on 1031 Exchanges. I will also post on the original post for those that didn't sign up for the event.

    Bend does not even slow down for winter! Snow is not even factored into my participation in anything anymore. Karen you will get use to it.

    @Paul Singer I went into Bend yesterday to order some materials for a little fixer we're doing in La PIne, and I couldn't believe there wasn't any snow!  We don't have a lot, and if it stays like this, I definitely will be there.

    Snow is not an issue! I work in Terrebonne until 5-5:30 though so I will likely not be there until 6.

    Ok .. I wimped out. Right when I was getting ready to leave, it started pouring down snow here in Three Rivers!  How many made it?  Did Karen do a presentation on 1031's @Skyler Holloway?  Did you guys like the location better there than Bottletop for the meetup?

    Karen did a great presentation about 1031's. I was awesome that we could ask questions and work together to figure them out. @Alison Fountain, a few others, and I went to broken top bottle shop afterwards and heard a pretty good talk on the 2018 outlook of the Central Oregon market. It was interesting to hear from a local economist and city planner. As you can imagine they said prices will go up, supply will go down, demand will increase.     Bend BP-ers- Does anyone want to learn about ADU's? A great chance is coming THIS WEEK!

    I believe that there's an all-day event on Saturday (paid), but for a quick lesson and chance at questions, I'd suggest looking into Green Drinks event. See here: https://envirocenter.org/event/green-drinks-adus/
