    @Mike Hurney Hello Mike - I attended one of Cherif Medawar’s programs in the past. I must admit he is by far the best investor and syndicator out there. He is very clear and witty. He does joint ventures with investors through his real estate fund that is filed with the SEC for over a decade There is a bunch of us who will come from NY if and when you can get cherIf medawar to speak at your organization again; sorry we missed that last one.     @Pat Marco I agree with you Pat that Cherif Medawar is the best but I want to explain why in my opinion he is so successful: 1) he is the only one who truly teaches in depth what he does both residential and commercial (This is rare because seldom you see an expert with that much experience in both) 2) he presents his own deals, does case studies and is very detailed both from the buy, fix and flip to the buy, rehab and hold 3) he is also a real estate fund manager so he teaches syndication from how to raise capital, to how to draft a ppm to how to deal with SEC and stay in compliance etc - he has deployed over $100 mil and shows the actual SEC.gov website with the deal addresses verified by the SEC regulators - that’s a lot of money but he is humble and teaches even how the small deals can be done 4) he love teaching and makes learning fun - he has been teaching and writing since 1998 - I know that because the first time I attended one of his events was back in 1999 5) he has various programs for his students and investors to joint venture with him not just to sell them coaching or books and CDs 6) he has the best asset protection program according to the judges he interviewed on his asset protection website - amazingly inexpensive and powerful set up (very simple as well) 7) he has a legal and simple way to reduce tax on flips and capital gains through Puerto Rico even if you flip properties like he does in different parts of the country - that alone puts him in a league by himself 8) he shows proof of concept in each of his strategies and shares the actual settlement statements on many of his millions dollars deals (and he teaches the step by step how to do the same thing) 9) he has more video success stories than any other guru (including my own and my son’s success stories) 10) he is very approachable and respectful both in his live seminars to all attendees and in person on the side anytime we talk to him one on one I was going to write four reasons only but the list kept growing With all that said, he does not do too many events and focuses mainly on a select few markets. His systems and strategies work anywhere and I am one of the people who followed him and applied his methods successfully for years. I look at other gurus and I attend other seminars but I have always gotten back to him because there is no comparison really and Cherif Medawar has way more experience in all facets of real estate investing than anyone else who is out there teaching.
