Meetup in Bend at Level 2 - 3298, 360 SW Powerhouse Dr, Bend, OR 97702 (In the Old Mill District) 

NOTE:  CHANGED BACK TO 1ST THURS as there was a competing meetup on Tuesdays. 

Hope to see everyone! Bring your deals, listings, etc. to share, along with what you're looking for.  

For any newbies, this is a great, low key way to get to know other real estate investors, brokers, buyers, builders, lenders, etc. that are currently active in the market or wanting to learn more about getting in. 

The restaurant is nice enough to allow us to use their space, in return we need to do our part and support them financially to get the best ROI for the space as possible by purchasing food and/or drinks. >> MENU

    Please ... tag those that aren't on here, I just pulled this off an old post. I haven't called Level 2 yet to reserve, I had to go out of town on emergency family trip. Maybe we can do out on the deck this time or ? too hot? Wasn't sure of name we put it under, Biggerpockets meetup or Karen T. ?

    I'm not going to be able to make the meetup. Miy cabinets that were supposed to be delivered earlier are just getting the job site and I have to go meet them and check order. I'm so sorry. I called Level 2, and also called @Carey Greiner , and left message asking him to relay this info., as he's the only number I could find. Have a great meetup!

    Hello everyone. How did the meetup go? We're in the process of finishing the 2 houses in Bend, one in Oregon Water Wonderland 2 and the other in Sunriver. After we finish these projects we are going to relocate back to Redding, CA. That's where we are originally from, and I still own a house there. 

    As you probably know, there's a big fire that just wiped out over 1000 houses. We are going to go down and get in on the rebuilding. We have built so many projects there over the years, from SFR, a subdivision, small office complexes, office buildings, office/condos, etc. I KNOW that area. I am licensed in CA in both real estate and construction.

    As far as real estate investment, it's a huge opportunity. Speaking with others that have experience in burned areas, such as Santa Rosa, housing appreciated quite a bit, and the demand was huge. Redding already had an extremely tight market, and now it will be even worse. 

    If anyone is interested in that market, message me. 

    In the meantime, maybe one of you can head up the meetup for Bend? It's got such a good foundational group, and I know it will grow once the summer is over, or maybe a few of you can split it?

    I'm new to the area and would love to get to know some other RE investors in OR. I'm a relative n00b with just one rental back in MN, but I am looking to add to my portfolio!
