Hello Everyone!
In today's newsletter Brandon put it out there that maybe we should set up a local BiggerPockets Real Estate Meetup and I thought that, that was a FABULOUS idea!
I have looked into REIA meeting times and most of the time I cannot make them, because I work full time, so this would be a great alternative.
Please let me know asap if you would be interested and what days and times work best for you and then I will figure out the when and where.

I agree -- this was an awesome meetup! I really enjoyed meeting everyone there, and liked the introductions by everyone and what real estate investing they have done and where they plan to go. I also learned that Scooby Doo is a favorite of more than one person in the group!

I apologize, I haven't had much time to send out the invite, but I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that we will be Saturday, November 1st @ 9am at the Caribou Coffee in Wauwatosa.

The theme of the meet up will be financing...what's available and how to get it. Although I am not an expert on this subject matter, I am hoping that others can discuss their experience and how they are approaching the next deal or how they have gotten their previous deals.

Do you mean FRIDAY, Nov 1 or Saturday, Nov 2? I'm assuming the latter as Friday was never discussed. Just clarifying.

You can never ever set up a meeting with RE investors on the first of a month if landlords are included. They all have to either take a bath in the cash they get that day, or they have to run around and try to get that cash :)

Caribou Coffee in Wauwatosa did not have the room we need, so I have been working diligently on a great space that we can meet comfortably & I found it!
Stone Creek Coffee Factory, downtown Milwaukee, right across from the Amtrak Train Station. They have a fabulous conference room in their beautiful building that will seat everyone comfortable and they have white boards & projector that we can use if needed. Also, they have ample street parking, so that shouldn't be a problem.
Here is the address:

The meeting will be @ 9am on November 2nd.
I will set up the invite this week!
P.S. Quick note, the space will be $60, however included in that price is coffee service, so if everyone could chip in $5, I would appreciate it!

I am new to the forums but heard somewhere that there might be a meet up in MKE this weekend. I saw your flyer above and just wanted to double check and see if it will be alright if I could meet up with you all? I reside in Verona right now, so I shouldn't have a problem being there at 9AM :)
