I am interested in networking in person at real estate meetups in Little Rock. Which meetups can you recommend?
I've combed through the meetup.com and Facebook for Little Rock. The most active ones that meet in person are posted below. Covid seems to have done away with many of the meetups, with the last events posted back in May 2020 and canceled. Are there any more?
Paul - the meetup.com platform might be dead for these parts, but https://www.arkreia.com/ is still active with weekly web meetings and they just recently started back at in person meetings. It appears they will be trying to maintain at least one in-person meeting per month. I just went to one last week...there were at least 30-40 folks there, maybe a few more, and I'm sure this will continue to grow as the consistency of the meetings is maintained. Randy provides good information on the weekly web meetings as well.
I personally haven’t found any but just because there aren’t any active ones doesn’t mean there are a few that could be created. If you are interested in creating meet ups let me know and maybe we could get something going again.@Paul Winka
If you have any meetups on a weekend let me know. I have some property up that way and looking for more. It is 6 hours fr me though and I still have a W2 job. I have plenty of vacations days though if you have it on a Friday or Monday. Heck, I might even give up my Texan credentials some day soon and move up that way.
Seriously though, I have some connections up that way and looking for more. That place is hopping and not that crowded yet.
@Ricco Ardemagni Thanks, I went to the website and registered. I am surprised that so much is still just online only. Have you noticed a bump up in the number of participants that are not local?
@Mike Reynolds There is one meeting on the weekend. Hot Springs. Check my links above, looks like the next one is on 17 Jul 2021, then the next one is 21 Aug 2021. @Rachel Fazio is well involved in that one and could confirm more about it.

Thanks Paul. Won't make the July one because that is my anniversary and I am on the Guadalupe River on vacation. The one on August is maybe doable though as I may be installing new water lines in my park that week.
@Paul Winka Most participants over the last 3-4 weeks have been majority local. Maybe 1 or 2 people per call outside of Arkansas from what I remember. That being said, the overall participation appears to be on the rise, at least when comparing early June to now.
@Mike Reynolds Come on up. Yes it appears the Hot Springs group likes to meet on the weekends. Unfortunately I'm in same boat as you and can't attend this weekend, but I'd like to make their August meeting.
