Was just wondering how many people in michigan close by to me there are on here I been a member for a while now and am kind of wanting to get a little meetup going to network with some close to home michigan investors. Let me know if any of you guys are interested in bouncing some ideas off of each other and networking close to home...

I'm interested as well.  My family is from Bay City, and I'm in the middle of buying the old family homestead.  So I would love to network!

I would be interested as well. There are no BP meet ups within 45 miles of Bay City.

The Frankenmuth Brewery might be nice unless you wanted to stick strictly to Saginaw.  They have private (small, banquet type) rooms. Just a thought.

Would it be best to have this meet up done at a place that serves food as well or just a regular hall? let me know what you think?

So now that we have people in the area that would like to do the meet up is there anyone in the area that has over 5 years of experience that is willing to come and talk with everyone and add experiences that they have learned from?

I have a very flexible schedule so I can meet essentially anywhere and any time that is most convenient for everyone. Sorry, I don't have the 5 years yet unfortunately.

if you have investing experience that would be awesome!!! Derek there is also a meeting a colleague of mine is putting on in Detroit area if you would come to that one. I think I'm going to direct all from this meeting to that one instead because my colleague and I already have some things in place to do the meet up at the end of April. Would that work for you instead of the Saginaw area??

Like I told @Bryan Wilhelm, I'm goin full time newbie on this game. If there is anything I can do to help out on my end please let me know, I have a very flexible schedule and want to contribute.

Any update on this get together? It would be nice to have a couple seasoned investors involved too ;)
