Hello BP Members,
My name is Marcus Nickson and I must say I am excited to be on the BP website with all the wealth of knowledge that is provided by the real estate investors on the site and the various methods used by the different investors to accumulate wealth.
I am looking to find a seasoned real estate investor with a strong background in Multi Family buy and hold investing to mentor me. Anyone seasoned investors interested in mentoring a newbie investor I would definitely look forward to speaking with you.
Locate and attend 3 different local REIA club meetings great place to meet people gather resources and info. Here you will meet wholesalers who provide deals and rehabbers (cash buyers). Find them through Google and meetup.com
I'm new here too. I'm assuming you listened to all the BP podcasts. I started reading the guests' favorite books on real estate and business. While not a direct mentor, some of these books have changed my understanding of investment and approach to investment. I think The Millionaire Next Door is a must read. I'm glad you started this thread. I'm looking for mentorship as well. Thanks
Welcome to the forum, Marcus. Find some investor groups/meetings that happen in your area. You should be able to find them easily, either here, Meetup.com or just google them. Get to know people and network. The more people you talk to, the more opportunity you will have.
