Title says it all. I live in the New Braunfels area but I understand most groups are probably in San Antonio. Hoping to find some new people to network with.
Hey @James Walker! I live in New Braunfels and invest in the area. I'd be up for connecting over coffee sometime soon. There used to be a REIA here in New Braunfels, but I think it disbanded. There are a ton of meet of groups in San Antonio though.
I'm meeting up with Brandon Miller this week. It appears that there is a lot of interest in our area. Maybe we need to start back up a REIA for the NB / Seguin / San Marcos area maybe even include Cibolo & Schertz.
@Mike Walker heads up the Comal Hays REIA (CHREIA) that has been meeting in San Marcos for a few years now. They meet the last Saturday of the month at 10am at Mochas and Javas near Texas State University. I haven't been able to go much lately since I have small kids, but always enjoy it when I can make it.
Hey guys, I'm in Hays county and there are a few I try to attend regularly. The first is Comal Hays REIA as Linda mentioned they are actually meeting this Saturday at 10am. The next one is fairly new but a lot of active players attend and is called, Central Texas Real Estate Investor Meet-up. Both of these can be found on Facebook. I would also love the opportunity to meet up. I'm newer to rei so looking for knowledge and a place I can help where needed.
I'm active on the north side of San Antonio - sorta lost interest in the N.B. area because of sky high prices on everything. Would love to get together.
One meetup group meets at McAdoo's but that's a little pricey for meetups IMHO.

@Crystal Brooks The Comal Hays REIA co-hosted by @Mike Walker and @Chris Koble still meets the last Saturday of the month at 10am in San Marcos. We'll post the details for the next one in the BP events section as the meetup gets closer, but if you are interested in joining the facebook group, PM me, and I'll send you the info (not sure if I'm allowed to post in the forums or not).
I would like to give a fair warning to my reia members in the San Antonio, New Braunfels area. I have a tenant that was about 4k behind on rent that abandoned my property and left to the New Braunfels area. She is looking for a place to rent. She has been behind for several months even before the Pandemic and if I can save any of my fellow reia members the headache I would love to. Her name is Whitney Parrott. Let me know if you would like more info. Spread the word if possible. Today is June 12th 2020 and she is currently looking in yalls area for a rental.
@Katie Greenman The Conan Hays REIA is still meeting the last Saturday of the month at 10am. Location varies a little right now. Don't think there is a meeting this month due to Memorial Day holiday though. @Mike Walker usually posts on meetup.com and there is also a FB group. I try to cross-post on BP as well.
