Has anyone applied for funds through the Rental Assistance Program in Mississippi? Do you know if any of the funds have been disbursed at this point, or what the time line might be.
I applied 6 weeks ago and haven’t received any funds. The online portal is suppose to help you track the status of your application, but mines still say application submitted after 6 weeks. I tried calling the toll free number and speaking to someone directly. They’re not disclosing any information. Just telling you to use the portal to monitor your application.
I applied for a tenant my app is now saying application pending approval is that a good sign
Yes! By tomorrow the application should say “Application in QC review”. My QC review took two days before the status was changed to “Application Approved”.

We did for a couple of tenants and no payments yet. We applied and tenants completed their part within a couple of days of it coming out and still no payments.
I have a tenant requesting this right now, but I stopped my application when it asked for SSN. I am following this thread to see if it is legit or not.

Ok, so I found out that your application status has to updated to say paid. Once your application has been approved, it has to be processed for payment. I guess trying to get your landlord/utility company the opportunity to opt in to receive the funds. They don’t have a timeline for long it processes but you should receive an email telling you how much they’re paying once it does process. I’m still waiting for my status to say paid.

Hi mine went exactly like you said it switched to QC review today
Does anyone know what to do to get future payments after first application has been approved because it only let me ask for a few months payments
I’ve been looking on the social media pages of the MS-Ramp and somebody said that you have to wait until your first 3 months are up to apply for another 3 months. I don’t know how true that is but that’s what somebody said.
Did you receive an email? Did your landlord opt-in to receive the funds? If so, the money is going directly to your landlord and not you unless the email tells you that they are paying you directly.
yea mine had been saying approved for about a wk an half. And just today i received a email this a.m, that said i needed to go on the ramp website an print out the ACH form, and fill it out,sign (in writting) an upload it onto my acct.So i just uploaded it...fingers crossed i hear something soon. my status still says..application approved
