RAMP/ERA Program in Mississippi

Has anyone applied for funds through the Rental Assistance Program in Mississippi?  Do you know if any of the funds have been disbursed at this point, or what the time line might be.

 Yes! By tomorrow the application should say “Application in QC review”. My QC review took two days before the status was changed to “Application Approved”.

    @Shari Delgado do You know who Your landlord bank with? You should have been paid but as I said before some of the banks are rejecting the money thinking it’s fraud and ramp will send out a check instead.Have your landlord call the bank to see if a deposit of that amount is pending or if the bank rejected it

    any have all their timeline info? For example;

    is your landlord participating? Y/N

    who completed application? Tenet/Landlord?

    when was App completed?  Mm/dd

    when did you receive a change in status?  From app submitted to ....? On what date?  Mm/dd

    next change in status? 

    date retrieved actually funds? 

    How did you receive funds?

    Applied for recertification on 10/8/21, tonight finally got a message stating they are processing back pay from sept til dec (they only paid one month on my first application) and approving future payments for Jan -Mar 2022 🙏🏽🙏🏽

    Has anybody still had to pay their late fees after ramp paid back pay? Just trying to prepare myself

    I had my application in a while, 4 or 5months now and my lights are off and I called the help center, after waiting on hold for an hour and half I got with some lady. My light bill wasn’t paid on my first application so she said I need to apply for recert. I don’t know how long that takes, they can’t even tell me that up there either. They are practically useless, I still have no lights. She said the most she could do was send a message. After waiting that long and that’s all I got. I wouldn’t waste your time calling because they no help up there. Ridiculous.

    So i applied on 11/04 and my portal still says application submitted. How long did it take y’all to actually get assistance? Have any of y’all had trouble because you didn’t put your landlords email on your application? I’m scared they are going to deny me. I emailed them on that link but is there anyone i can call?

     Yes but it never said paid, plus landlord received the $0.01 deposit, according to what I heard it had to show paid before it goes to the bank

    @Shari Delgado I haven’t had any updates or payment I sent a message in the portal and the guy said I was approved and my landlord should get payment but that was 2 weeks ago

    Hi, mine is at the same stage as well and has been since the 11th with no change. I messaged my processor and he said I was completely approved and should be receiving payment soon and that the processors are the ones who approve and then batch them for payment so I guess we are all waiting on the processor to batch ours for payment.

     And my landlord said he received the .01 deposit back on October 26th and I’m the only renter he has so it wouldn’t be for anyone else. This is insane the way they do this. No wonder ms is on the verge of losing their funding bc they won’t disburse it in a timely manner

    I recertified on Oct 20 and mine isn't changed from it stating the first payment does anyone know when it will change I emailed them and they stated they got my      recertication paperwork so why hasn't it changed or can someone tell me how long before it will change

    Did your Landlord receive payment via DD and also which bank cause i heard most payment are been sent via checks even when you choose DD and filled the ACH forms?
