Has anyone applied for funds through the Rental Assistance Program in Mississippi? Do you know if any of the funds have been disbursed at this point, or what the time line might be.
I applied 6 weeks ago and haven’t received any funds. The online portal is suppose to help you track the status of your application, but mines still say application submitted after 6 weeks. I tried calling the toll free number and speaking to someone directly. They’re not disclosing any information. Just telling you to use the portal to monitor your application.
I applied for a tenant my app is now saying application pending approval is that a good sign
Yes! By tomorrow the application should say “Application in QC review”. My QC review took two days before the status was changed to “Application Approved”.
If the bank said it’s fake call attorney generals office & governor. I think this whole program is a scam. We have given them every spec of our personal information. It’s supposed to be an emergency relief type program right..?… I applied 11/30, went under review 1/11, & have made no progress since…. I have emailed, called, messages in portal, everything & have gotten no response to any of them. 5 months waiting on EMERGENCY funding. Well I now live in a tent. LITERALLY! I lost my job, my car, my home, everything. It’s RIDICULOUS! GOOD LUCK

I applied 10/20 and mines has been say paid on status but pending by the amount
Hi check your portal to see if you have messages from your processor you may be missing info. If there are no updated messages call until you get someone. Give them you id number and your processor name . Explain your situation. Your processor will contact you and your status will update.

@Stephaine Foster, I have called multiple times. I have no clue who my processor is but I have requested a callback over 50 times, but I haven’t received 1 yet.

Has anyone received any type of communication yet? I did my recert the end of Dec and has heard nothing! I’ve been emailing and even left several messages for all of the recertification reps
I finally spoke with someone today after submitting my recertification documents in December! The processor called me with an update. The funding has not ran out so hang in there & don't give up.It's a very slow and draining process but they will pay!I hope everything works out for you soon!

I continued to reach out through my processor via messages. On March 9, 2022 they responded to me asking me for several documents. Some of the documents I had already submitted 2-3 times per previous requests from the processor. My status has been "Recertification Payment Processing" for months. Today (May 9, 2022) I called the local number on the RAMP portal to be prompted to call 1.866.736.9564 who is Pearl River Valley Opportunity Inc. They have partnered with the RAMP program to help with Recertifications. I believe they may be trying to push my payment through maybe. The Pearl River Valley representative was extremely kind. I will update my progress. The whole process takes a very long time but ultimately everything will process as expected.

My status changed today from awaiting landlord outreach completion to under review and the processors asked a question and I said yes now it at pending approval wat does that mean
What does awaiting landlord outreach completion means because I've already uploaded a document thar states my landlord does not wanna participate. Is this a bad thing?

Well i reapplied in November and it just updated last week..so hopefully it will be soon since it's updating
The last recertification I did was completed within days. I got a message that my recert app was approved, it stated pending, then application processed and batches. I received an email stating that I was approved, the payment amounts and date it would be sent 1/24. I received check in the mail yesterday. Fastest time EVER. I cannot believe it!

They finally put my new payment up and it says processed but my landlord says they haven't received it yet but the last time they received it before it even said payment processed..has anyone had this problem
Are they now requiring that we be served with a summons in order to receive funding?
@Janelle Jones I truly believe so. My 3 day notice didn't move them. You have to have a cut off notice or a court summons in order for them to do anything
