Building Empires, Not Storylines.

Food for the thought:

It is interesting how when a man receives mentorship, guidance, or an opportunity from a successful woman, it is respected and celebrated.

But when a woman receives mentorship or opportunity from a successful man, suddenly there are assumptions, doubts, and side comments.

Growth is growth.

Guidance is guidance.

Vision is vision.

**let's normalize women receiving mentorship and opportunities- without assumptions.

We are building empires, not storylines.

Have an amazing and productive day everyone and remember:

the best energy you can invest is the energy you put into yourself.

Well, your post about your new mentor just sounded a lot more like someone was grooming you than mentoring you. Sorry, it's just that mentors don't say those types of things, but Harvey Weinstein types definitely do. So it just set off alarm bells for those of us who have been around the block a few times. I hope we are all wrong, but I wouldn't go anywhere private alone with this mentor if I were you.
