Mentor in Real Estate Investing

Me and my husband have been landlords for the past 4 years and own 2 rentals. We are really looking for a mentor in the real estate investing world. How to go about finding a mentor? Attending networking events is one. What are other options?

Hi @Neha K. For virtual options, I have gotten a lot of value from folks like Brandon Turner, Ashley Kehr, Ken McElroy, and Joe Fairless their communities and events tend to attract serious investors. Also of course Bigger Pockets. There is an events forum page on here, I see many learning events posted.

If you’re open to passive investing, I’m happy to help there too. I’m part of a co-investing club where we meet and vet deals together, and even active investors find it helpful to see how others analyze real opportunities.

Hi @Neha K., welcome to the BP Forum! It sounds like you've already been successful at investing in rental properties. Is there something specific you're looking for in a mentor, scaling, buying 5+ units, etc?
