Atlanta Real Estate Attorney - Any Recommendations?

Hello all! I'm in need of an experienced Real Estate Attorney familiar with Georgia law, preferably located in the Atlanta area. Can any of you suggest someone that you use or have used and had a good experience?

    Campbell & Brannon, ask for Robyn Sonis

    I've closed a bunch of deals there,  free valet parking, great snacks, and they do a great job

    I've closed with quite a few across Atlanta. One of my favorites is Josh Rand with Rand & Associates in Roswell. Very insightful, responsive and all around nice guy.

    @Taylor O'Keeffe I have closed dozens of deals with Shafritz and Dean. Highly recommend their communication and love the people there!

    I'm curious how RE Attorneys are paid? Is it an hourly rate and you use them when you need them? Retainer? Percentage of the deal?

    For basic closings they will have a flat "closing fee." They also receive a percentage of the owners title insurance policy if one is purchased. Before going to closing be sure to get quotes from a few attorneys if you are the buyer. If their is any title issues that need to be cleaned up the attorney will usually charge a flat rate for things like affidavits or lien payoff negotiations. In more complex situations they may charge hourly for things like suits to quiet title.

    So I'm guessing you need a lawyer more for RE deals than your personal? I know when I bought and listed my personal SFH, I've never used a lawyer.

    Michael Brochstein at Brochstein and Bantley, PC is one of the best I've ever dealt with. 

    He knows his stuff!  They are right in Atlanta at Piedmont and Buckhead loop off 400

    Raymond Kearns and his team at Campbell & Brannon are fantastic! They are very detail-oriented and reasonably priced as well.
