Hi BP Community in Hawaii, Are there any real estate investors living in Hawaii available to meet for a cup of coffee to chat about investing in real estate in and out of Hawaii? I've been thinking about creating a meetup on Meetup.com for this! All of the other REI meetups on island charge to go to them so I was wanting to do one that is free and just gets BP members together to network. No gimmicks or recruiting. Not sure where to do it though because since it would be free, I'm not going to shell out the cash to book a place. Any ideas? I'm in Waikele.
Also willing to meet up with people who have information regarding rentals on different parts of the island. Also interested if anyone has information for acquiring properties out of state. I am in downtown so also quite a ways away.

My name is Joe Harosky and I live in Ewa Beach. I am an real estate investor/agent with a background in VA loans. I am aware of a potential 7 bedroom investment property in an area North of Kapolei. I was going to show the property to another investor but he decided that he is solely interested in an investment property in a specific locale on the East side of Oahu, hence, I am assisting him with the search it that area.

7 bedroom SFH INVESTMENT property in Hawaii? I'll believe it when I see it. :) If its a flip, then of course. But if B&H, would love to hear more.

Also, has anyone heard of Hawaii Real Estate Investors (hirei.org)? I was thinking about joining in on one of their meetings if there were no meetings with fellow BP members.
Yeah there is a meeting for that group (hirei.org) tomorrow night @ 6:30pm at the Japanese cultural center. I just joined. This will be my second meeting. I think it cost $15 at the door for non-members.
