Phillip Thatcher, the president of Landlords of EJC has been approved as a Speaker at the Independence Council Meeting, he has been given only 5-min to speak; but, that should give him enough time to express our "points of opposition" to this Article. He will be speaking on behalf of all four of our groups: Landlord Legal Defense Fund, Landlords Association of Eastern Jackson County (LAEJC), KC Landlords Inc., and Mid-America Association of Real Estate Investors (MAREI). ON TUES Sept 6th at 5:30 PM: We will meet as a group in the north parking lot in front of Independence City Hall, 111 East Maple, corner of Noland Road and Truman Road. The City Council chambers is in the basement of 111 East Maple.
