Hi all, looking to build relationships and network with other investors local to the Brooklyn, NY market that are buying at least 2-4 properties a month.

My company and I are based out of New York and have been investing out of state for close to a decade now. We created this business model due to the fact that it was and still is pretty expensive here in NY and the rates of returns were not meeting our expectations. Steve, what markets out of state do you invest in. And how do you manage the property remotely? Do you just hand off to a management company or do you have partners that live locally in those markets?
We only invest in landlord friendly states. I oversee the property managers on all our properties and NO I never just hand anything off. We visit and have others nearby who help us keep tabs.
Brooklyn People: Forgive me, but since we're all Brooklyn Property Owners / Managers here, may I (also) draw your attention to this indirectly related but still pertinent thread?
Naum Raz Id be interested to hear more about your thoughts on which parts of jersey you're seeing deals? In my experience a lot of those markets are over saturated as well and asking prices are inflated. Looking forward to hearing back and connecting.
Newark, NJ - All day. Simply based upon the sheer number of deals, available properties and the fact that this market is on the rise. Working on 3 deals right now, in this area.
I'm in agreement with previous posts on this thread - BK requires you to put more resources into one property vs Newark, where you can pick up several properties for the same price. You're ROI is simply greater in Newark, than in BK.. Anyone looking for more info, PM me. Have a huge list to pull from - both Commercial as well as Residential.
