South king county/Seattle meet up

Hey everyone, I’m in the Seattle area and it seems like most of the meet ups are north of Seattle. Is there anyone out there that is currently hosting one on the south end around king county or would like to start a new one?

Hey All - the space the JH1 team has available in the Old Ranier Brewery is in Sodo, right off the highway. Its office/event space, so we have a rooftop patio, 11th floor common area, our office, and a meeting room to chose from. This would be great for groups from 6-20, but the space wouldn't be able to accommodate more than that (especially with Covid spacing folks out). We've got coffee on-site and folks could bring drinks if this ends up being a happy hour event. Unfortunately the "Old Ranier Brewery" is old for a reason - Rainier is no longer brewed here in Seattle, its actually brewed in Milwaukee, so there's no brewery on site for us to enjoy.

Finding a space that works for everyone is always a struggle, but I'd say that if its between Seattle and Tacoma and within a few minutes of an i-5 exit most folks should be able to make the trip if they're committed to it.

    I'm in Bellevue and would be very down for a meet-up. I'm going to be out of the country for the last half of October but I'd love to join if I can. If not, I'll be sure to catch the next one.

    @Sherief Elbassuoni, @Trevor Ramos. Awesome!Thankyou for that,  It sounds like the rainier brewery  office space may actually end up working out But there will unfortunately be a limit on the amount of people that can attend Due to COVID. I am working on the date but would be great if it can be as soon as next Friday the 23rd and will post the limit and everything in the event listing. 
    The other option would be a large bar in Renton, I would love to hear everyone’s opinion on location.

    Would also love to hear How everyone feelS about a “mastermind meetup”? This is based around everyone openly sharing what they have going on and what there next small or large steps are regarding realestate. Of course this is compared to a standard meetup of breaking off and talking amongst each other.

    The further south the better for me since I'm in Pierce!

    FYI, I'm in an online BP mastermind group once a week.  There are just 3 of us, but after a few meetings we determined that when you talk about specifics among each other, the time goes by really fast.  Ours is largely about accountability, but also everything else we're doing and learning.  We limit the amount of time each person "has the floor" and it's working very well thus far with us.  So, I'm guessing more than a few people doing so may run long in a larger meetup group!  Just food for thought.

    @Jacob Whitbeck Renton would also be great if it allows everyone to come, I'm not sure what the number limits are at Rainier. I'm happy as long as there is room for me!

    If we were to use a "small group breakout" format we could probably accommodate 25 (5 groups of 5) at the JH1 Homes offices in the Old Rainier Brewery. I don't know of any bar around here that is seating groups larger than 5 as I think that's the phase 2 limit.

     @Michael Haas That sounds very reasonable and yeah they bar thing would pretty much requiring breaking into groups since it’s 6 people per a table. 
    I can get the details worked out with you on Monday if that is ok? Unless your available by phone tomorrow?

    Ok everyone who is interested I posted a an event for the meet up for next Friday the 30th at cheers bar and grill in Renton. If you would like to attend please confirm at the event so you can see the COVID rules and also shoot me an email confirmation since there is an 18 person max if that many people decide to show.
