Let's discuss Jerry Norton's Powerflipper 3.0 with a finder's fee of $10,000 for any deal you find them. I THINK IT'S A SCAM. If anyone has had success of has had a deal accepted by them where they actually paid them the $10,000 finder fee... please reply to my discussion. Of if you have ANYTHING to say about Jerry Norton's programs that others should be aware of, please feel free to share.
News Flash! If anyone finds a deal that meet the criteria Jerry is looking for then contact me and I will take it and pay you 10k and you wont even have to pay anything up front. I am sure there are plenty of cash buyers looking for deals at 65% ARV.

Jerry is very successful but he is not gonna help anyone who buys his programs. It's a hook job. . But the program will not make you money. Nobody that can be verified had made any commissions from his power flipper. .it is to bad all the sharks out there turning this into a whore industry. The only way you will make money is hit the trenches in m my opinion.
this entire thread is super interesting. I just cancelled my free trial subscription and honestly there was nothing in the system that warranted $400.00/month. POF's and cash buyer and other lists notwithstanding. the free trial was 15 days, I cancelled on day 14 and they charged my card immediately AFTER my cancellation. No biggie my bank sent me the fraud alert and I had them block the charge. Just really not cool, Jerry ...
I bought the lot flipper program for $1000 about 4 months ago and still have not had a deal accepted. If anyone has had a deal accepted by the program please let me know.
First thing I noticed was the 4 testimonials online in videos never tell you what the deal was, Not how much offered, not how much repair, not what ARV, just a bunch of scripted, formatted empty gratitude. Plus none ever mention a deal after the first. Comments are disabled, yeah I know they mostly attract trolls, but maybe they would include some amens? I looked at this and passed. I see the deal Genie in others' programs for less entry cost. Thanks BP community for giving us these forums.
Jerry Norton information can be located at http://www.scamsgalore.com/peter-conti.html Updated 02/23/2017 copy this and past it i think you will think twice before buying his stuff. Some of these Guys are pros at selling if you can secure a deal for 50 % off why would anyone give it away their are legit joint venture partners on this site that will help you and treat you much better as a partner just post it and see what kinda response you get .Have a good day.
I know for a fact that people rarely if ever got a deal approved with Mentor Financial Group. I worked for them and I got to point that I could not keep watching people throw away their money. Of course I was let go without reason. All they care about is your money.

Thank you all for your replies and post on this thread!
The open concept of Biggerpockets is great and conducive to shedding light on all the different aspects of Real Estate Investing and for that I am truly Thankful!
I paid a finders fee if a lot more than that to my last birddog. I'll normally pay 1-2%
No idea who this guy is or about the program but getting a $10k fee to bring a good deal doesn't sound out of line.
The property I bought a month ago could be sold for almost $1m more today. That's worth a nice fee to the guy who brought it to me
Jerry Norton still has his program going strong. I have been getting emails but I wondered about the $1000 deposit. I can figure out if deals make sense so I really don't need the software. Incidentally, why does he keep saying the value of each the software programs is at least $997? - angling for the $1000?
I am also leery because I don't get to know the criteria before I pay my $1000. (by the way if I don't have the $1000 up front he will let me pay in 3 installments that add up to 1287? wow what a deal! - does my refund become 1287 instead of 1000? :who knows?)
After reading all the posts on BP I know I am right to hold on to my $1000.
Why do I have to pay him to find properties for him; Let him find his own properties!! If I have to go through all that I should have the reward myself not give it over for 10000 +1000 !!!
My curiosity to see what this program was based on brought me to this post. I work primarily with investors and offers that are significantly low (I mean really low ball) come from wholesale investors using the Jerry Norton system. It does not seem to be up to date for the Los Angeles or Inland Empire areas for homes sold on the market. Perhaps the system strategies are best in a buyers market, other states or for acquiring off market properties. If you are doing wholesale investing you need to have other strategies and models in place besides this one. My comment is not intended to be negative or positive, only sharing my experience as an agent working with investors who use this system to make their offers in my area.
P.S. Yes I have done wholesale investing so I know how it is (bird dogging, driving for dollars, yellow letters etc.). It may be more beneficial to work with your local principal investors.

All the replies I read here today are old and I just saw his webinar last night. Why are they allowed to continue to scam people without getting into legal problems. A friend of mine bought Fortune Builders and because she maxed out her credit cards buying into the program they denied her funding. The whole purpose to buy the program was to have the funding because everyone who wants to invest needs money.
Has anyone had experience with Jerry's marketing program using Craigslist and VA's? It sounds good in theory. Just wondering if it/he does what he advertises re: this program.
I just listened to the presentation and a few issues jumped out at me right away.
First, he says you make offers with his offer template - but the fact of the matter is that the law is different in every state, and one template will *not* necessarily be legal in any state other than the one he is in, and I wouldn't even bet on that. There is no mention that there are different templates for each state or anything like that.
Second, the process he is describing is not even legal in some states, including Pennsylvania, where I live. "Wholesaling", where you only find the deal for someone else and don't close on it first *your own self* is selling real estate and requires a real estate license here, and in many other states. Naturally, Jerry has completely failed to disclose this.
Third, as others have mentioned, there was no mention of any of the criteria he requires for the deals you find.
Fourth, there is a place to ask questions on the webinar page, but of course none of the ones I ask (including the issues above) were actually answered.
Fifth, they limited the window in which people would be "allowed" to buy their program to a whopping ten minutes, because that means that those are the "go-getters", and after all, since he doesn't have unlimited funds, of course he can only work with a few investors so it has to be those who are willing to bite so quickly. Sorry, I can see offering a discount for a limited time only, after which the price goes up to whatever the full cost is, but NO reputable seller/instructor is going to literally only give you a total of 10 minutes to make your decision.
Sixth, depending on the market you are in, and the specific deals you find, $10,000 could be a ridiculously small finder's fee. It could also hugely exceed anything even remotely reasonable for some of the properties at the other extreme. You can actually still find deals where I live in the (very) low 5 figures, and in some cases, still in the mid 4 figures.
I'm glad that the other comments here have justified my decision not to get hooked in by this latest BS I'm coming across.
I know this is an old thread but I just listened to Jerry’s “free webinar “ and from the very beginning I knew there was a catch. I didn’t sign up of course. I am willing to do my own homework and actually learn how to invest in real estate and create a system that works for me
I just listened to Jerry Norton's Craigslist Flipper software webinar. It sure looks spiffy as shown in the webinar! He didn't say anything about flipping the properties TO HIM for a finder's fee. The webinar was about how the software "scrapes" Craigslist so you don't have to do any searching. Effort is still required to communicate with the Craigslist advertisers, but having software to lift the deals out of Craigslist would surely be worth $1,000. Still, based on all the non-verifiable hyperbole used in his presentation, I passed.
Do you wonder why there are not to many recent reviews about this company? Because in their terms and conditions there is a veiled threat that if you say anything derogatory about the company they will sue you. Yep. Beware. Suffice it to say I lost money.
I was invited to watch a video about Jerry Norton offers thru a link from Mr. Morris and I wasn't impress and happy I did my due diligence thru bigger pockets and others should do the same before moving forward. Thanks bigger pockets.
