I bought his wholesaling course and have been following Nick for over a year. I've been learning about real estate myself for the last month and has been blown away by the information he provides. He's super responsive to my questions I ask him via Instagram messages. He usually gets back to me within a few hours. He's out everyday doing his own deals and I think that is what separates him from most "gurus". Overall I like his style and is a hustler for sure. I think his program is definitely worth the money if you're new to real estate. I started 3 weeks ago with his book "flip" and then bought his course. I have cash buyers and my title company ready to rock. I am now just marketing to find my first deal! Couldn't be happier with my experience. Hope all is well with you all!
Hi @Aaron Sutter. Instead of asking about all these different people and if they're "legit" or not, you may want to consider researching and learning about wholesaling for yourself from BP and other already-vetted places. You don't ever want to lean to heavily on any one particular person's knowledge base anyway. As you spend time meeting new people in the business and connecting, your radar for BS'ers will get better and better, and you will become better at knowing who to actually listen to vs. who you should simply nod and smile at. Just my two cents.
Also on the topic of being proactive, regarding another of your posts - it is very easy to search BP members in a particular area or within a certain distance of your zip code, even with a free account. Don't ask for people to say hi to you, because the truly busy ones rarely will. Go get 'em!
Thank you Nick G. For your response. I hear you and what you are saying and believe me I am not quick to jump on with these guys. That's why I am here asking because I am new to this and want to learn. I am trying to utilize the Bigger Pockets Network for all my answers. These guys are just in my feed telling me that they can pretty much take me to the wholesaler's elite.
@Aaron Sutter, I understand your question. I just listened to Nick Ruiz's webinar. I'm sure he is successful. However, seems like he is selling his real estate courses, so of course he hypes everything and of course he is bias; and seems to focus more on selling his courses. Also, based on the short training, his tactics seems borderline disingenuous to me. But I guess it works for him.
I say, save your money. All his course information seems like nothing new. You can get it all free here on BP. You can get free contracts for wholesaling here for free too.
