Pretty much what the topic says; I've gotten around 50 keyword alerts for San Antonio in 2 days, it's craziness! I love my alerts and think they're a fantastic tool, but this is madness! :-P
@Mike Clark I've tried, but no luck yet. I can change my settings, but I prefer realtime notifications. Anyway, hopefully it'll stabilize soon; I thought I was the only one. Good to know I'm not losing my mind ;-)
It appears to be one overzealous poster. I like the enthusiasm, but there is definitely a right and wrong way to use the forums. I appreciate a go-getter, but haven't ever liked the used car salesman approach. Business is built on establishing relationships, not on forcing your product or service on any/all prospects. Reminds me of the guy the bar that hits on every lady; his close rate may be pretty good, but he probably doesn't have too many repeat customers.
Lol @Seth it happens, but it is a learning curve, just takes a bit to get used to a new community (and of course a willingness to adapt). I do like the interest that SA is getting, and love the work that's going on here!
