Backlinks for Real Estate?

Anyone have some good websites to use for backlinks for your main site? Obviously right here on BP is great, but what are some other real estate sites for backlinks?

To clarify links posted on your youtube videos do not qualify as backlinks. They are flagged as nofollow. Nofollow links do not increase page rank and aid SEO like backlinks do. For a link to be considered a “back link” it must be flagged as dofollow. You can check the status of a link with various firefox SEO extensions, or by simply right clicking on the page and and selecting “view page source” it will show the HTML code of a page. If the link has dofollow it is considered a backlink.

This is not to say that quality youtube videos won’t drive traffic to your website. But it will be through natural click through rate, because your video was informative and of high quality. In the case of youtube all links are categorized as nofollow and do not help increase page rank for organic searches. In other words, no it does not help the overall SEO of your website; however, it can lead potential visitors to your website if they stumble upon your video. In addition, your youtube video can rank independently of your website. So its possible to rank on the front page with both your primary domain and a youtube video.

I believe that Pinterest use to all DoFollow links, but I don't think they do any longer due to spammers. I did read a great article on Twitter and using their search engine, hashtags, etc to search the top profiles in your niche in your area. You basically engage them, build their trust on a personal level, and then you ask for a link exchange on their website. It's a little more work, but it's not a link in a blog comment. :)

I own and operate an internet marketing agency and what I'm about to tell you is solid gold. here's what you do: - Register your domain's email on the gravatar platform. make your username the domain you'll want no follow and do follow links so here's how to get the no follow.. install moz browser extension that will show "pr" of all websites Google gives you when searching. in Google type this: "gravatar" + "real estate" and open all the 10+ page ranks in a new browser. go through and add a real comment and each of the posts will have your domain no follow on it. if you can cultivate the discussion, they may allow you to post a link to your site for a do follow link. do this for as many posts add your able. it's best to have valuable articles/posts on your site you can reference to that are of use to people. 5-10 is enough. then, take those urls of the real estate sites where you commented and post a comment of your own with their site link on Facebook. do this for all of them but spread it out for 30+ days. try and get several reshares of your fb posts. This should be the first thing anyone does to increase their rankings. never pay for anything on fiverr. Good luck

I get good links from Trulia and Realtor.com forum. Great way to grab some back link juice and keep progressing forward in SEO.

Samantha M. I️ have noticed I️ get a good amount of backlinks from here on BP. Get a lot of back links from REI club website. YouTube channel that you regularly post on will give you some solid back links. I️ also currently use SEM RUSH and I pay $99/mo. There is a section where you can analyze your competitors backlinks and see what backlinks the 1st,2nd, and 3rd position on google is getting links from. Then reach out to that site and figure out a way you can get backlinks from them as well.

Link building is an important part of SEO in order to rank your website but to be honest with you if you go after quantity you will lose the game. Google itself says that they care about quality not quantity so the very first thing you should have in your mind about link building is to look after quality. I'm going to mention few tips from my personal experience i did for my Real estate clients it will help you out definitely. But remember be honest with what you do if you try to cheat the game you can get caught by google and get penalize easily they have the world best minds!
Here are some of my personal tips on this topic:
- Create some sort of awesome content that will be really easy to brag about and promote. Try and ensure this content has appeal to a large audience (i.e. more than just people in your industry). This content can be a tool, data, a whitepaper, an interesting article or graphic, a good video, etc
- Outreach. Email and/or call relevant bloggers, business associates, industry journalists, etc. and talk to them about your awesome content. If it really is awesome, they should be inclined to mention it on their site, link to it, etc. This is how the very best links are usually obtained.
- Social Media Advertising and Promotion. "Seed" your awesome content on Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, Pinterest, etc.
- Search advertising. PPC ads can be surprisingly effective at promoting the right kinds of content (tools, whitepapers, data sets, widgets, etc.).
- Guest blogging is really popular with SEO spammers right now, and I genuinely fear that they're going to ruin guest blogging for the rest of us . Having said that, it's still relatively easy and very effective...but it's REALLY effective when you're able to brag about your awesome content when you make your initial pitch.
- Smart, intelligent blog commenting on high quality blogs is a surprisingly effective link building and traffic generation tactic. I'm consistently amazed at how well this works, even though almost all of these links are nofollow.
- Old fashioned tactics like article submission, bookmarking, directory submission (great for infographics, at least for now), forum links, etc., have limited value, but there are situations where these types of links can be beneficial. Your experienced SEO consultant can point you in the right direction.
- Sadly, low quality blog comment blasts and other spam has limited effectiveness as well. However, I don't recommend pointing these links to your own site.
- If possible for you try to create roundups on your main website and ask fellow bloggers in your niche to give their advice or something that can be very beneficial to attract your fellow bloggers in same niche audience.
