Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone from the Des Moines, Iowa Meetup group. I had a great welcome and some sound advice. 

If you're a newbie investor in the area don't hesitate to attend. Experts and pros there's plenty for you too. A good mix of good people all with something to bring. 

The third Thursday of every month at Caribou Coffee on Ingersoll.

    Nice, thanks for the info, I've been a little hesitant to attend because of my relative newbie status, sounds like a good crowd.  I'll try to catch the next one!

    It was 5.30pm but I think it's usually 6pm. Hopefully the organizer week be along here soon and he can add you to the Google group.

    I'm in Ricks shoes as well. I wasn't sure if I could contribute anything since I'm brand new but I will try to make it to the next meeting as well.
