Anyone bought a multifamily property in Washington DC area?

Hi all, I am new to investing and looking for get started with a duplex or a fourplex. Anyone has experience with one of those in D.C. area?

I just bought my first property in NE DC,  which happens to be a duplex, in January and I put $30K down for closing costs/downpayment. If I can do it, you can do it!  :)  I purchased close to Gallaudet university.
