Thoughts on news story?

Just a few minutes ago I saw a news story with a representative from the DSA (Democratic Socialists of America). He says that the DSA believes that no Landlord should be able to realize "double-digit profits" as he put it. Seems that is 'immoral'.......

Thoughts?

I mean, if he is a socialist, this view point fits with his political views, right?

Avoiding political discussion, I agree with @Caleb Brown - I would never invest in properties in NY unless it was a rental for a direct family member that couldn't afford to live there otherwise (like my children for example).
