  Some people are in the note business, but I approach it differently. Our co-investing club sometimes negotiates custom notes to operators, with some kind of strong collateral (whatever that is for the specific operator). If you want to start a note investing business, that's a different game and I'd ask around in the BP forums to find people currently doing that.
