Property Owners Periodically Test Your Listing Agents! Save Lot's of $$$$

As a  realtor I cannot tell you how many realtors have no basic sales skills. I am almost think I could make a living training agents on sales and basic communications with potential clients.  I worked in Silicon Valley and in Tech industry and in tech sales you are trained on sales, qualification skills and closing deals but all along the sales training way the main focus is on excellent customer service.

Real Estate Agents take state RE tests, pass, get their license and then go get listings and in several cases with no formal sales training. They let calls go to voicemail, call back the next day and sometimes days later..and sometimes they treat the caller rude and are annoyed at having to answer questions pertaining to the property.

Solution:  Property Owners can add a clause in those Seller Representation Agreements  that says if an agent does not return calls within a certain time frame or if its determined the agent does not act in professional manner that is immediate cause for contract termination without Seller interference penalties.

Owners Pro-Tip: Test your agents by having your friends periodically call and ask questions related to your property and listen in to hear how your property is being represented.

Its simple, its effective and could potentially save you $1000's on the time it takes your property to close escrow!
