Real Estate title search on Bronx, NY multifamily home?

Question

Generally, how much would I expect to pay for a title search on a multifamily property located in Bronx, NY?

I want to make sure that there are no liens on the property. I want to factor extra costs into an offer price.

Hey @Bill Thomas

It all depends on the purchase price but likely in the 3-5K range if its not a short sale. For short sales you have to include Real Property Transfer Tax which is roughly 2% of the sale price.
