Websites to post rentals that are not Zillow...

I know this might be a shot in the dark, but I am wondering if anyone has any website(s) that they use to post their rentals that are not syndicated through the MLS.

We are a Zillow Flex Team and after our properties go live they are syndicated through, which is great but with so much information going out into the online world, I feel sometimes our listings can get missed. 

I want to get our listings that are sitting for awhile into the light again to try and get some new leads. I already use craigslist and AHRN to market to military.

Also we have some gorgeous furnished units that were Arbnb but we are now turning into mid-term rentals. We use FurnishedFinder, and have gotten one lease from that. Are there other websites to target traveling nurses or corporate execs that might be looking for a 6 month stay?

Any and all recommendations are welcome!

Just trying to think out of the box for marketing!

    Great question, Madison—sounds like you’re doing a lot right already.

    I’ve run into the same issue where listings can get buried in the noise once they hit the major syndication platforms. Here are a few lesser-used (but solid) options I’ve had success with for both traditional and mid-term rentals:

    Alternative Sites for Standard Rentals

    • Facebook Marketplace – Still one of the best for local traction. You do have to deal with some tire-kickers, but we’ve locked down solid tenants there too.

    • Oodle.com – Not flashy, but it still pulls in rental traffic, especially in secondary markets.

    • Nextdoor – Hyper-local and hit-or-miss, but worth a free post—especially if the home is in a nice neighborhood.

    Mid-Term / Furnished Rental Channels

    You mentioned Furnished Finder already, which is huge for traveling nurses. A few more options:

    • Zumper + PadMapper – Often used by relocation specialists and shorter-term tenants; has a furnished filter.

    • Landing – Focused on fully-furnished, flexible-term rentals for remote workers and corporate tenants.

    • Blueground – More high-end corporate housing network; might be a fit if your furnished units are upscale.

    • HouseStay – Serves travel professionals, corporate housing, and insurance placements.

    • Travel Nurse Housing Facebook Groups – There are active regional groups where you can post direct to your audience (e.g., “Travel Nurse Housing – Florida”).

    Pro Tip

    If any of your units are sitting, we’ve had success by running short video walkthroughs and posting them to YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels (even on a brand-new account). It’s free and gets a surprising amount of reach, especially when paired with local hashtags.

    Let me know if you'd like a list of hashtags or ad copy I’ve used that worked well for furnished or mid-term units—we’re doing more of that ourselves lately.

      • I usually include 10–15 per post, and mix local + audience-specific tags. If you're posting on Reels/Shorts, make sure your caption includes keywords like “furnished rental in [city], available now” to help the algorithm figure it out faster.
