 Toledo, Cleveland, and Dayton are all good for cashflow and are right here in Ohio.

    As others have said... House hack. There is no better way to get started than to take your own personal mortgage and eliminate it WHILE learning the ropes.

    You make small sacrifices to achieve this but it is absolutely worth it. And if you don't want to self-manage hire out the management duties to a property manager. It's unique and you will have some fees, but it will still give you a WAY higher ROI than buying while still renting.

    @Raghavendra Kandukuri
    Columbus and Cleveland are great Ohio markets. Columbus is a solid hybrid market of cash flow and appreciation. Columbus has lots of job opportunities and population growth. On the other hand, Cleveland is a great pure cash flow market.

    Hi Raghavendra, I have found value investing in Cleveland, OH because it is home to Cleveland Clinic, lot of good neighborhoods, landlord friendly laws, stable appreciation and good cash flowing properties. There are also abundant opportunities for small multi family and SFH. I have been able to scale up to 12 doors in 2 years so definitely recommend this area. Feel free to reach out and we can discuss.
