Real Estate Attorney in Metro Detroit?

Question

Hello! I am looking to connect with a Real Estate Attorney in the Metro Detroit area. Anywhere in Oakland County would be ideal as that is the county I am looking to invest in. If anyone has any recommendations or has worked with someone in that area please let me know! Thanks in advance!!

Drew Sygit · Answer

Suggest you attend www.REIAofOakland.com event Thursday, January 12 in Troy to meet other investors to accelerate your learning.

They will also be able to assist with forms and attorney referrals

That sounds fantastic! I’m new to the game but I’m eager and ready to pour my heart into it. Would love to connect with the two of you! I’m from Oxford and my family owns Evergreens Coffee over here so I can happily do a round of coffee on me!

I would reach out to other wholesalers in the area to see what is needed. I have a great guy that has been doing it since the 70’s and would probably help he always asks me if I need anything but I’m an investor buying from wholesalers. He always asks if I would like to join his team, by doing that you will get a lot of benefits one learn the skill and two have leads with his team.

I am looking to get into wholesaling and then eventually buy rental properties so I want to talk to an attorney for formalizing different contracts and things of that nature to make sure I am doing everything by the book.
