John, you'll probably have more luck in searching LOCALLY, on sites like NextDoor or other smaller localized sites. BBB is "okay," but not always accurate, and any complaints fall off (not shown) after 3yrs.
Even Angi (was Home Advisor), while not great for providing leads (direct knowledge), they're sticklers on the Reviews. Unlike Yelp, where reviews on there are many times fake, removed for paying clients, etc.
Looking for: Longevity (years in BUSINESS), warranty, and fair on pricing. Doesn't have to be the cheapest and hopefully isn't. But in a big $ item, like a FULL tile roof replacement, get 2-3 quotes. If it's just repairs, then.... again the same considerations but, be sure they warranty the repairs too!
