I own three duplexes in Buffalo and they were managed this past year by a company called Real Estate advantage. The owners were David Mcleoad and Roger Farney. They didnt collect rents from my tennants for five months and never returned my phone calls. They are no longer managing my properties but I need to see if anyone knows the address of there office or how I might get it. I have searched online and can not find anything. They always sent me things by email so I dint have an address. I am filing a small claims suit against them and I have to have an address. Can anyone help? Thanks!

I wonder if collectively, a bunch of us could get the District Attorney to press criminal charges for fraud against David McLeod?
I may never see any of my money returned to me, but it seems as worse he will continue victmizing others indefinitely if he isn't stopped, and restitution will never be made. I don't know why I decided to google David McLeod after all of these years, but for some reason I did today and re-found this forum. I am shocked that he can still function and at the same address without being shut down. I hope anyone who is considering any business dealing with this guy finds this forum and realizes it is a very bad idea. The guy is a crook. Rent Enforcement and Recoveries appears to be his latest scam company:

The real mastermind is David Deon McLeod, date of birth 4/12/77, behind it all. He's still at 111 Porter Ave. in Buffalo but under several new business names, as he changes them frequently to evade responsibility and after filing bankruptcy under former names. Also, his personal home address is 35 Florida Street, Buffalo, NY 14208, so feel free to reach the jerk there too. Additionally, the Department of Homeland Security may be interested to know of any fraudulent activities, given his persona-non-grata status with lapsed green card in our gracious United States of America. His business associates these days include Kenneth Pierri, Sal Buscaglia, Curtis McCutcheon, Salvatore Mallia, and Kevin Muscoreil. It's a good ol' Boy network.

I have a bit of an update on this situation but I wouldnâ€™t exactly call it good news. I was in court with them as well and discovered a few thingsâ€¦

- David McLeod recently declared personal bankruptcy from what I can tell, so you wonâ€™t likely get any money from him.
- Even if he didnâ€™t declare bankruptcy the company was an LLC (and went belly up) so there is nothing in the companyâ€™s name, and it would be hard to pierce the â€œcorporate veilâ€ especially since it was a Nevada company.

I actually had a good relationship with Roger Farney, and Michelle Gil (she mainly did the rentals). From what I could tell they were honest and tried to do right by me.

I was with the company for several years and at the beginning everything was great, after a while they started paying me less and less frequently. I called up sometime in June â€˜07 I believe, and Roger told me that he was leaving because things were getting a bit too shady and he suggest I do the same. I left and Roger sent me a check for all the money they owed less about a grand. He said that is all that there was in any of their bank accounts and that David left the signed check to pay for something else but felt bad for everyone David was screwing over so he wrote it out to me instead. David answered my calls for a few months after that saying that everything was fine and â€œthe check is in the mailâ€, but it never came.

I believe Michelle was good as well. Before she came, the rental part of their company was headed up by David and was abysmal. She got the rental time down to about 3 weeks (which isnâ€™t bad from what I hear for the East side of Buffalo) from about 2 months.

Anyone else have any other experiences with this company? I believe there are a few dozen of us, and am interested if you guys know anything else as I would like to get my money back, although I am not exactly holding my breath at this point.
