I am wondering where would be the best place to get up to date housing market data. thanks

In my market directly from the MLS that I subscribe to.

The data is provided by info sparks on our local MLS. If you don't have access to the MLS, then perhaps ask an agent to pull some data for you.

Local real estate associations also have their own market updates that they send out each month, but the MLS for me has been the best tool.

Try Redfin if none of the above works. They have market specific filters that you can use.
